Meet the Acupuncturist

Sara Hallor is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest college of Oriental Medicine in the country, where she studied both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles. Sara is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental medicine and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine. Sara is also a licensed Massage Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and she has studied Reiki as well.

Prior to graduate school Sara received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kenyon College in Ohio. As a Division III athlete who later suffered from a ruptured disc, she has a personal interest in acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain management.

Sara currently competes with the Cambridge Masters swim team at Harvard University and also practices yoga regularly. In addition to her Masters degree in Acupuncture, Sara continues to purse specialized training in the field of sports medicine and acupuncture.
