Meet the Massage Therapist
Susan Young, L.M.T.
Susan is our newest Massage Therapist. She began her interest in wellness after working as a volunteer aerobic fitness leader for the YMCA in New Hampshire. After graduating college she became interested in massage after experiencing firsthand it's benefits during treatment for an injury. She completed a 750 hour program of study from Nashua Community College in 2004 and has held state licenses and practiced in NH, IL, and MA. Susan is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a member of the American Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
Susan approaches each session based on the individual needs of the client and customizes the session using swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, as well as other techniques she has learned along the way. She does her best to provide the best massage experience for each client whether it be for pure relaxation or a targeted therapeutic approach.
Susan resides in Boston an enjoys long walks expoloring in the city, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
