Dr. Patrick Doody has been providing high quality chiropractic care to the people of the Boston area for over seven years.  Dr. Patrick attended one of the country's leading chiropractic colleges, New York Chiropractic, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree after obtaining his B.S. in Biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

Dr. Patrick is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.  He utilizes the most modern treatment techniques available including a digital foot scanner, therapeutic ultrasound and electric muscle stimulation.  He is a certified provider of Graston Technique (visit www.GrastonTechnique.com for more info).  Graston Technique is used by nearly 5000 clinicians including athletic trainers, chiropractors, occupational and physical therapists to:

  • Decrease overall time of treatment
  • Foster faster rehabilitation/recovery
  • Reduce the need for anti-inflammatory medication
  • Resolve chronic conditions thought to be permanent
  • Allow individuals to continue to engage in everyday activities

Dr. Patrick has also studied extensively in the areas of Ergonomics, Prevention of Workplace Injuries, Clinical Nutrition, Chiropractic Care for Seniors, Women's Health Issues and Fybromyalgia.

Dr. Patrick uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) to make interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Patrick  is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

At Harvard Square Chiropractic, we recognize the importance of a home-based treatment regimen in conjunction with our office-based care.  A recent study conducted by the Medical Research Council, a research organization based in the United Kingdom, has found that patients given a combination of spinal manipulation and exercise experienced greater improvement in back function and greater reduction in pain compared to those treated with spinal manipulation or exercise only.  Each patient is given an individually based exericise program to help speed their recovery.
